【About the activities】
A local guide will explain the history of the winery, which you can enjoy even if you are not familiar with wine. This tour will introduce you to grape growing, wine making, local heritage and culture. Let’s go inside the oldest winery in western Japan, which is usually closed to the public. If the weather is nice, clink glasses with sparkling wine while overlooking the Osaka plains! The townscape is lined with old wooden buildings and the giant camphor tree, a natural monument in Osaka Prefecture, that looks like Totoro itself could jump out of it every moment. Participation by 4 or more people is recommended.
*This is a light tour.
※More in-depth tours conducted by winery staff with special lunch boxes made by local chefs who know Katashimo Winery inside out are held once a month in Japanese. For further information see the events page on the Katashimo Winery website.
Costs: For a group of 1~4 persons JPY 16,000.
For every additional person JPY 4,000
